The 36th Annual Fort Massac Encampment 
October 16-17, 2010
 

Enjoy Metropolis during the peak of the beautiful fall foliage season. Sample homemade foods, listen to music, and see re-enactors demonstrating craftsman skills. And you won't want to miss the mock battles!

Daily Schedule of Events

Saturday Oct. 16

10:00 AM:              Posting of Colours at forts

10:30 AM:              42nd Royal highlanders Bagpipe band at parade grounds

10:30 M - 4 PM     Children's Games

11 AM - 3 PM        Music of the 18th Century will be performed

11 AM - 4 PM        Fife & Drum Demonstrations can be viewed daily

11:30 AM:              Voyageurs canoe landing at riverfront

12:30 pm:               Children's activities - puppet shows, storytellers and games

1:00 PM:                 Fashion Show, Small Stage

3:00 PM:                 Mock Battle and Military Tactical Demonstration, Battlefield

5:00 PM:                 Military Retreat Closing Ceremony at Forts.

9:00 AM:                Church Service, Inside Fort
