Oct. 6 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. :  Southern Illinois Spinners and Weavers Guild demonstrates crafts at the visitors center at Fort Massac State Park.  Free.

Oct. 20-21 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Sunday : 38th Annual Grand Fort Massac Encampment at Fort Massac State Park, Military and civilian craft activites and demonstrations both days.  Pre-1840 period living historians will present displays, food, music and interpretive programs from the 18th and early 19th centuries.  Each day will showcase opening and closing pageantry, minstrel shows, a return of the voyageur canoe and mock battles for all to enjoy. Other highlights include traders, children's game, and a large food court.  Free.
